THE CONQUEST OF IMPLANT COMPLICATIONS

5th Bangkok International Symposium of Implant Dentistry 2019
27 – 29 November 2019
Royal Parogon Hall I Siam Paragon I Bangkok

Message from the president

Dear colleagues,

Looking back in 2010 when the first Bangkok International Symposium of Dental Implant (BIS) was held in Bangkok, it was a small meeting where there were about 600 participants. It was not widely recognized by dentists who were interested in dental implants in the region or even in Thailand at that time. Until 8 years later when the last BIS was held in 2017, there were more than 1000 participants and more than 50 business companies joined this event. The BIS becomes bigger and now is well recognized as the biggest and most important international implant meeting in Thailand and South East Asia. This year we will organize the 5th BIS or BIS2019 which we aim it to be much bigger and better than the previous symposiums.

The theme of the BIS2019 is “The Conquest of Implant Complications”. After decades of learning and working experiences, most of us, young or experienced implantologists, all have encountered some complications, more or less, minor or serious, no matter how careful we are. Therefore, it’s a good opportunity for us to learn and share our experiences and also discuss how we can prevent or overcome those unexpected complications.

The 3 days meeting at the same venue, Siam Paragon Hall, the center of Bangkok will be held during November 27 – 29 and the precongress course on November 26, 2019. We have invited world renowned speakers and talent regional experts to share their views and experiences. There is also a poster session to show new research and innovations of the young researchers in the region. Most important, the “Implant Expo“ which will be the biggest dental implant exhibition in the region with more than 150 booths and more than 50 world leading implant companies to show their new products and advanced technologies for the next generation of implant dentistry. It’s also a very good opportunity for us to meet old friends and make new friends in the international profession with share the same passion to make our oral health care strong for our patients.

I would like to invite all of you to join our BIS2019 and to help us make this symposium a very valuable one.

Welcome to the BIS 2019 and the warm and beautiful city of Bangkok.
